Consistency... What is consistency? The dictionary says that consistency is steadfast adherence to the same principles, course... It also says that consistent is constantly adhering to the same principles, course... So, what stands out is steadfast and constant. Think about those terms. They are very simple in definition but yet not easy in application. The name of the game is what both constant and steadfast mean in relationship to time. There is a very critical equation that can assist in understanding your success. C x T = S or Consistency x Time or over time =
Success. As you all know this can and does apply to anything that you do
consistently, desirable or undesirable. If you eat cup cakes every day consistently over time, then you will be successful in gaining weight and being nutritionally unhealthy. On the other hand, if you save money consistently over time, then you will be successful at being financially independent. Believe
this...YOU are the Influencers that will influence others. YOU have set
the ground work, the foundation. Your commitment is much recognized.
Alright, so the age old question. The
Question that anyone, everyone asks at the end of any program (remember this is
not a program its a process and a process does not have an end) is...
How do I make it stick?
If you are in a program then the question will
continue to be asked because, as the past has shown us, we will get to the end of
a program, and may even have hit our goal, and will shrink back and then begin
striving for the goal again. We repeat what we focus on. If we are
focused on the goal or the end we are set up to go no further than what we have
focused on.
But...We are in a process and We focus on the
process. If we focus
on the process and take care of it then the process will take care of the
result, the end, the goal. To move quicker towards your goal just pick up
the pace in the process. The process is the discipline and whatever we are
disciplined in becomes a part of who we are as we build confidence in it.
Let the process do its job by doing yours and focusing on taking a step
everyday. YOU Can move along this path everyday! DON'T stop. Trust the process. If your Why is defined then the
process can handle it. We believe in YOU, now start believing it yourself as you walk this process out.
Great Job! Take the step!
